Residents who live in an Iona neighborhood are keeping a closer eye on their cameras after seeing a suspicious man walking through a homeowner's yard late Tuesday night. It made residents question who this man is and why he is doing this.
"Most of the people here are retirees, and I can understand being, after viewing the video, I can understand how people would always be concerned," said Jim Dunne.
Video obtained by NBC2 Wednesday showed this man had a shirt over his head, and was walking around with a backpack on. Lee County Deputies responded to this at the 11000 block of Pointe Circle Drive.
Several residents that NBC2 spoke to off camera, who live near where the man was spotted on camera were all terrified to see that the video, they told us that this isn't normal in this neighborhood.
"If they're going around like that, they don't want to be seen. First of all, that's odd, and the other thing is, is that they may somebody may recognize him, whoever it is, and that's why he has his shirt over his head," Dunne added.
"If he's a safety hazard for anyone, children, adults, whatever. I hope they get take care of him," said Christy Dobyns.
