The City of Cape Coral said if your debris isn't at the curb right away, you may get hit with a code violation.
Residents debris must be separated by construction and demolition, yard waste and appliances.
The city said it's also noticed residents are placing debris out after the first collection already happened in the neighborhood.
Now, Waste Pro will pick up any additional debris - but only during their regular hours and if it's set out properly.
If you're caught dumping your debris illegally like a vacant lot, you may receive a code violation.
If your debris still was not placed out properly, it will be subject to a Notice of Abatement - meaning you need to take action fast to fix it, or you could face a fine.
It will be your responsibility to get it removed. and no the city.
You may also take your debris to the other drop off location along NW 31st Avenue or the site along SE 42nd Street.
