A Colorado man was arrested in Naples for failing to register as a sex offender in Florida on Sunday.
According to the Naples Police Department, officers were called about a fight at a hotel involving Jason Arif, 38.
While investigating, officers found out that Arif was visiting from Colorado, and that he was convicted for sexual assault and exploitation of a child in 2012.
Officers then found out Arif had failed to register as a sex offender in Florida.
Arif was arrested for failure to register as a sex offender before being transported to the Collier County Jail.
