A 23-year-old Michigan man was arrested in Naples after deputies said he drove away on his motorcycle at speeds of over 130 mph on Wednesday.
Deputies with the Collier County Sheriff's Office said they received a call from the CCSO Aviation Unit reporting a reckless motorcycle driving south on Collier Boulevard.
Deputies said they saw the driver, later identified as Gabriel Kingston, 23, while sitting in the median near the Collier Boulevard and Championship Drive intersection around 3:02 a.m.
According to reports, deputies activated their radar gun and clocked Kingston driving past them at speeds of 134 mph.
Kingston continued driving south before turning onto Mainsail Drive where deputies said they attempted to pull him over. Kingston reportedly made a U-turn and sped away northbound on Collier Boulevard.
CCSO ground units did not pursue him due to the high rates of speed and safety concerns, but the air unit continued to follow Kingston.
Kingston was seen pulling into Freedom Square where he reportedly parked behind the Carrabba's on Tamiami Trail E. Deputies said Kingston tried to hide the motorcycle and himself behind a dumpster.
Deputies surrounded the area where they say they arrested Kingston.
Kingston is facing one count of fleeing from police and one count of reckless driving.
