The City of Cape Coral is set to break ground on a new park on Monday morning, brining plenty of mew features to northwest Cape Coral.
Tropicana Park will be the newest addition to Cape Coral, offering access points, a beach, a boat tie-up and even a kayak launch.
The city also plans to add an observation pavilion, a playground and walking paths with fitness stations for you to come out and go on a stroll.
This park is part of the city's go bond referendum from 2018, which approved $60 million to expand the city's parks and recreation facilities.
This will be the city's 48th park. Tropicana is expected to be completed by winter of 2025.
The groundbreaking ceremony is set for 9 a.m. at 4101 Tropicana Parkway W.
