An 18-year-old woman has been identified as the victim of a deadly shooting at a house party on 64th Street SW in Naples on Saturday evening.
NBC2 spoke with friends and family who confirmed the victim as Dechia Arthur, a former Lely High School student who had recently enrolled at Beacon High School. Arthur was on track to graduate this year.
Loved ones gathered at a memorial near the scene on Monday, leaving flowers and candles around her nickname, "DD."
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office responded to the shooting where they say Arthur was struck and killed by gunfire outside the home.
Deputies have not yet identified a suspect, but the investigation remains active as they follow leads to find the person responsible.
