2018 was the last time the Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency updated its MLK Jr. Redevelopment Plan.
There is still a lot of projects in store along Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, from McCollum Hall to I-75, and you can help shape the future.
On Tuesday, Fort Myers wants to hear from those who live, work and play in this area before any redevelopment happens.
From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. , there is a free workshop at the Quality Life Center of SWFL along MLK Jr. Blvd.
This new plan will determine how future funds are spent and how projects and developments from Evans Avenue, all the way to I-75 will be prioritized.
You will also be able to get a look at a report on existing conditions along the Dr. MLK area and ask any questions you may have.
