Fort Myers city leaders are asking residents to chime in on the future of the city on Wednesday evening.
As we continue to see apartments, homes and even big businesses like Amazon move in to the area, city leaders want to hear from residents.
Residents will have their opportunity to provide feedback on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Collaboratory on Jackson Street.
You will be able to provide input with city leaders on things like affordable housing, residential and commercial land use, infrastructure and more.
The city said its comprehensive plan will be a guide that will shape the city over the next 20 years. So community input is vital.
We already know park improvements are coming to the city, after the $75 million go bond referendum was approved during the election.
This workshop is the first of multiple meetings, and it is a free event that is open to the public.
