A person was taken to the hospital after a crash on Metro Parkway Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, two vehicles were involved in the crash on Metro Parkway in front of Gulf Coast Medical Center.
LCSO says the crash resulted in injuries, with one person being transported to the hospital.
Two northbound lanes were blocked at the time.
