A crash along Veterans Parkway, near the Midpoint Bridge, shut down two lanes of traffic, causing some major backups Friday evening.
The accident happened on the Cape Coral side of the Midpoint Bridge.
NBC2 crews on the scene saw multiple cars involved in the crash. The Cape Coral Police Department responded to the scene, alongside several tow trucks.
The scene has cleared, and traffic is back to its normal flow.
