Parents and guardians of students going to Trafalgar Elementary and Middle School are concerned about the driving in the area.
Some people recorded videos of someone on their truck getting stuck in the mud this week.
The parent pickup line gets busy on the corner of SW 20th Avenue, with cars lining up and kids walking all over the road.
"It is a concern because cars are coming up and down the street. There are no sidewalks on every street, and kids are on the road. So, I walk up because I don't want my daughter to get run over," said parent Katherine Paquette.
People pull off on the side of the road, which causes problems for drivers. Now, parents say they are even more cautious about getting their kids. Many of them park and walk up to get their kids.
"Well, lived here that long. And, my boys went to school down here, and now they have children, and now their children go to school down here. And my grandkids. And the thing I'm concerned about is the, people around here that go fast, they don't care," said grandparent, Rob Harriman.
