The Conservancy of Southwest Florida said they have received seven animals stuck to glue traps within the past week.
The Conservancy said they have received animals such as the black racer and palm warbler.
If you find an animal stuck to a glue trap, please put the glue trap and the animal that is stuck on the trap in a box with a lid and air holes.
The Conservancy asks that you do not try to remove the animal from the trap. The stress can cause harm along with possibly injuring the animal further.
Once in a box, you are asked to bring them to your nearest wildlife hospital. From there, trained professionals will be able to help recover the animal.
The Conservancy also asks that people refrain from using glue traps as a control method, as this is inhumane.
