The City of Cape Coral is ahead of schedule in their passes to collect debris from our recent back-to-back hurricanes - just in time for Thanksgiving Day.
More than 34,000 cubic yards of debris has been picked up across the Cape's 3,050 miles of curbsides since Hurricane Milton passed six weeks ago.
For perspective, that's enough to fill 10 Olympic swimming pools.
If you still have debris remaining on the curb, Waste Pro will collect it as long as you have it separated correctly.
The city is warning you, it needs to be placed correctly to avoid code violations - that means off the path as well.
You can also remove it yourself by taking it to the city's bulk waste site along Kismet Parkway.
