NBC2 is working to find out what led to a 7-year-old boy drowning in a Lee County pond Friday.
According to the Florida Department of Children and Families, the boy, who had autism, was found in the pond after he got out of the home without anyone noticing.
We asked police where this happened and for more information about his death.
