Fire crews are battling a brush fire near US-41 and Shadow Creek Preserve on Monday afternoon.
According to the San Carlos Park Fire District, the fire was at 6 acres as of 2 p.m.
Shadow Creek Preserve is on the west side of US-41, across from San Carlos Park in south Fort Myers.
Florida Forest Service is on-scene cutting a fire line, and no structures are currently threatened.
