SWFL Crime Stoppers are searching for a man accused of robbing a Bokeelia business at gunpoint on Thanksgiving Day.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office said they received a call on Thursday for reports of a business robbery at Coconut Island Market on Raymary Street.
Deputies arrived on the scene, where they confirmed the business had been robbed at gunpoint and the suspect had run away after taking $8,000 in cash.
The victim described the suspect as a white male, approximately 30 years of age, with short, dark hair and no beard.
The victim told deputies the suspect was wearing a black long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans and was holding a black handgun.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS.
All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
