A death investigation is underway Monday morning in Charlotte County near the Lee County line.
According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, the investigation is along Nasturtium Drive, a neighborhood off US-41 south of Zemel Road.
It is currently unknown when or how the death occurred.
NBC2 is on the scene, and multiple forensics vans can be seen, along with the mobile unified command unit and animal control.
The sheriff's office said the investigation is in "very early stages" and has not released any addition information.
