There are still so many questions unanswered after one person was killed in a shooting in Charlotte County near the Lee County line.
NBc2 is on the scene Tuesday morning where crime scene tape remains surrounding the area.
All the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office is saying at this point is the investigation is still in the very early stages, and one person is dead.
Nasturtium Drive was filled with investigators Sunday night and all day Monday.
One neighbor told NBC2 they heard a gunshot around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. Then at 1 a.m. on Monday someone came his property asking to call 9-1-1.
Neighbors tell NBC2 they see lots of people coming and going from the property all the time.
Another neighbor said a shovel appeared in their garbage can on Monday. Deputies took pictures of the shovel and brought it in for evidence.
The sheriff's office said all people are accounted for in the investigation.
At this point, they have not released the name of the person who died yet, or if anyone is in custody.
