A 71-year-old Lehigh Acres man faces 10 counts of child pornography charges after federal agents said they found abusive material in his home on Tuesday.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Martin Jay Benjamin was arrested on Tuesday after agents and analysts searched his home and electronic devices.
Agents said they began their investigation in November after discovering an online user offering to share child pornography files.
The investigation revealed Benjamin's home address as that of the online user, according to reports.
On Tuesday, agents and analysts searched Benjamin's home and collected his electronic devices. Digital forensic analysis reportedly found multiple files depicting the sexual abuse material.
Benjamin was arrested and taken to the Lee County Jail, where he faces 10 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material.
