A man is wanted for violating probation after being charged with resisting an officer with violence in Fort Myers.
According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, officers with the Fort Myers Police Department responded to a disturbance instigated by Myron Jenkins, who had an active warrant for his arrest.
Upon arrival, officers placed Jenkins in cuffs, resulting in Jenkins becoming combative and pushing an officer to the ground before fleeing on foot.
After being arrested, Jenkins was released on probation, which he violated.
SWFL Crime Stoppers says Jenkins has 30 prior arrests on charges of battery, drugs, property damage, fraud, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and failure to pay child support.
Jenkins is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 225 pounds, with multiple tattoos, including "Outlaw" and "Loyalty" written on his left arm, "Lil MJ" on his right hand and a rosary with the phrase "Only God Can Judge Me" penned on his chest.
