A 17-year-old has been arrested and is facing charges after going 130 miles per hour during a vehicle pursuit with state troopers on State Road 82 Saturday night.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, troopers attempted to stop a driver going 86 miles per hour when the driver accelerated to 111 miles per hour.
Troopers say when they activated their lights, the driver fled at speeds of more than 130 miles per hour before being stopped at Bell Boulevard.
The 17-year-old driver has been arrested and is facing charges of fleeing to elude at high speeds, reckless driving with property damage, and driving without a drivers license.
