There's not much that's more magical than Santa's sleigh.
But between the branches of trees at the 18th annual Festival of Trees, the holiday spirit beams brightly.
"Believe it or not, it takes a really long time to fluff over 22 trees," Goodwill of Southwest Florida marketing director Debra Donatto said. "I have my favorites."
Green pine is merely one part of what lucky raffle winners can take home.
"In addition to the tree, it comes with an actual wedding here at the Sydney & Berne Davis Art Center, which people would die for," Donatto said.
"When this opportunity came up to support the community, I said I will design this tree if you let me put that nutcracker on top," Norman Love Marketing Director Kate Blanco said.
While presents are nice, these trees are rooted in what's far more precious.
"You're giving someone hope and families who couldn't afford the amount of toys and presents that come to their tree. You see the kids' faces light up. It's so special to be a part of that," Donatto said.
There's greater joy in giving.
