U.S. Marshals are searching for a Cape Coral man on the run since July after serving time in prison for attempted murder.
Reports state Justin Tetreault, 31, was arrested by deputies in 2009 after he reportedly stabbed a man multiple times in the head, chest and neck as he sat in his vehicle.
Tetreault spent 12 of his 15-year sentence in prison before being released on probation in 2023.
Now, U.S. Marshals said he fell off the radar this summer when he left his last known residence and refused to show up for electronic monitoring.
Detectives said Tetreault is a former gang member with six previous arrests since the age of 12, both in Lee County and in Palm Beach County.
