A man was charged after stealing a car in Lehigh Acres and is currently wanted for violating probation.
Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers says Jorell Gomez, 21, stole a car that was left running while the owner went into a store.
Officers were able to track the car to Gomez's house, where they also found other times recently stolen from other vehicles.
After being arrested and spending some time in jail, Gomez was placed on state probation, which he violated in late November.
According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, Gomez has been arrested four times previously on charges of drugs, weapons, and theft.
Gomez is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 125 pounds, and has a tattoo of 239 on his right hand and praying hands on his left arm.
