A death investigation is underway after the Florida Highway Patrol said troopers discovered a dead person at a rest area on I-75 near Fort Myers.
Troopers responded to the rest area on I-75 at Daniels Parkway around 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
FHP said a dead person was discovered at the rest area, but it is unclear what the cause of death was at this time.
