Two lane closures between Skyline Boulevard and Cape Coral Parkway W are closed Wednesday morning due to a massive hole.
NBC2 crews on the scene said traffic is starting to pick up along Cape Coral Pkwy eastbound.
Crews need to repave the road after a watermain break caused the hole in the middle of the road following a contractor error.
The hole is about seven feet wide and four feet deep.
Now lanes have to be closed on Wednesday as crews work to fix it.
