A Naples man was sentenced to 35 years in prison after murdering his roommate and burying him on his property in Golden Gate Estates.
According to the State Attorney's Office, Michael Allen Pritchard, 38, was sentenced for one count of second-degree murder with a firearm.
In November 2021, a man was reported missing by his family. The report states the Collier County Sheriff's Office began an investigation that led them to the suspect who lived with the victim.
Pritchard admitted to a witness he shot and killed him.
A search warrant was executed at Pritchard's home, and the victim's body was found.
