Parts of Cape Coral Parkway will be closed on Friday, Dec. 20, for milling and resurfacing.
City of Cape Coral officials said starting at 6 a.m., two eastbound lanes (outside and middle) of Cape Coral Pkwy between Skyline Boulevard and 627 Cape Coral Pkwy W will be closed.
On Tuesday, a water main break created a hole in the road that was about seven feet wide and four feet deep.
The lanes are open Thursday and the city expects them to be reopened before your Frida evening commute.
According to the news release, drivers might experience minor delays and should follow the posted detour signs.
