At least one person has died in a crash involving a motorcycle on Alico Road near Esplanade Lake Club Boulevard in Lee County Friday afternoon.
The crash happened around 12:45 p.m. NBC2 crews on the scene saw deputies blocking off the area, a damaged black motorcycle on the side of the road, and a dump truck parked just feet away from the bike.
Our crews also saw the medical examiner take a body away from the scene.
People living in the area called the incident a tragedy.
"Honestly, in my head, like goosebumps, I can't see stuff like that. So it was pretty hard for me," Eden Cohen said.
NBC2 has contacted the Florida Highway Patrol about this crash and will update you as soon as we learn more.
