Crime Stoppers and Fort Myers Police are searching for a man accused of breaking into Southwest Florida Real Estate and Business Academy in Fort Myers and stealing a computer and safe on Sunday, Dec. 8.
"I walked in and it was shocking. I felt violated, I felt lost, I felt confused, I felt sad, I felt like, how could this even happen? I felt scared, I couldn't sleep for days thinking the person's going to come back," said owner Lucy Quinones.
According to SWFL Crime Stoppers, a man broke into SWFL Real Estate and Business Academy at 2080 Collier Avenue in Fort Myers. A Dell computer and a black safe were stolen, valued at $7,250.
"He just ripped it out and walked away with the full safe. He must have used some type of drill or something because it was secure, it was locked," said Quinones.
