There was a ground stop for all flights arriving at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), according to the Federal Aviation Administration website.
The ground stop was reportedly due to staffing problems. The Naples Airport was also under a ground stop order.
However, an RSW official said some flights were taking off again and both airport alerts were removed from the FAA's website.
