A North Fort Myers man who recently served time for a string of crimes, including stealing vehicles and personal items, is back on law enforcement’s radar after violating his probation.
According to SW Florida Crime Stoppers, Emerson Armstrong, 31, is wanted by authorities and will be held without bond upon his arrest.
Armstrong gained attention for a series of thefts that included breaking into homes, stealing a pickup truck, and taking various personal items ranging from credit cards to a Mickey Mouse bag.
His crimes also included violating a domestic violence restraining order and driving without a valid license.
Deputies caught him in possession of most of the stolen goods, allowing many victims to have their belongings returned.
He was convicted and served 13 months in the Lee County Jail before being released on state probation less than two months ago.
Armstrong’s recent probation violation has prompted a new warrant for his arrest.
Armstrong is described as 5-foot-8 and 140 pounds, with his last known address in North Fort Myers.
