Over the course of 2024, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission rescued 112 manatees across the state.
FWC said their biologists, along with the help of public reports and agency partners, conducted 116 rescues statewide.
Rescue teams are stationed throughout Florida, and they respond to an abundance of calls for animals in distress.
