Filling out this survey could help the city and county identify ways to make the roads you travel on every day safer.
According to a study by Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (MPO) Safe Streets for All, from 2019 to 2023, there were an average of over 100 deaths per year on county roads, 600 serious injuries, and over $2 billion in societal crash costs per year.
In this survey, it’s asking you questions such as, do you feel safe biking or walking in Lee County and what areas do you not feel safe in?
It’s even asking what measures you think would make the roads safer, lower speed limits of more law enforcement?
The survey is 12 questions long.
