GOOD MORNING. GOOD MORNING. WE'RE EXCITED ABOUT THIS DOCUMENTARY. WHAT MAKES THIS ONE STAND OUT FROM SOME OF THE OTHER SUBJECTS AND FILMS THAT HAVE BEEN PRODUCED RECENTLY? >> I'M NOT RICH. TAKE THAT WELL. I THINK IT'S IMPORTANT TO KNOW THAT OF MEN AND BOYS NOW MAKE UP ONE-THIRD OF ALL DISORDER DIAGNOSES IN THIS COUNTRY AND A HUGE NUMBER OF THAT GROWTH. IT COMES FROM YOUNG MAN. IT'S 12 TO 14 WHO ARE GOING TO EXCESSIVE, LIKES TO GAIN MUSCLE AND TO LOSE WEIGHT. THAT'S NOT REALLY PART OF THE CONVERSATION THAT WE'RE HAVING AS A CULTURE AND AS A SOCIETY. SO WITH THIS FILM, WE WANTED TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE IMPACT THAT THINGS LIKE SOCIAL DIA, UNREGULATED SUPPLEMENTS AND PEER PRESSURE OR HAVING ON THIS GENERATION OF BOYS AND YOUNG MEN. >> TO RUN AS A FILMMAKER, WHAT TO WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO CHOOSE. THIS IS A TOPIC TO MAKE A FILM ABOUT. >> SIMPLY I'M I'M A FILMMAKER, BUT I WILL SUM UP THAT I'M A MOTHER OF 2 YOUNG MEN, ONE OF AT THE TIME WAS A 15 YEAR-OLD BOY. AND I STARTED TO JUST SEE VERY DIFFERENT BEHAVIOR IN MY HOUSE OUT WORKING OUT ALL THE TIME. JUST OVER-RELIANCE ON WRONG INFORMATION ABOUT WHAT TO EAT, WHAT TO LIKE SUPPLEMENTS TO TAKE. AND I REALIZE THAT THIS WAS SOMETHING A LITTLE BIT SCARY. SO, YOU KNOW, I MEANT OUT. SO IT'S LUCKY ENOUGH TO A GREAT TEAM OF PEOPLE THAT WE WERE ABLE DIG INTO. THIS IS A TOPIC. AND AND WE WERE REALLY SURPRISED WITH WHAT WE FOUND. >> RICHARD, YOU'RE THE EDITORIAL DIRECTOR OF MEN'S HEALTH. SPEAKING OF WHY DID YOU FEEL LIKE THIS WAS A TOPIC THAT WAS SO IMPORTANT FOR YOUR READERS, TOO. LEARN MORE ABOUT AND FOR YOU TO DIG INTO. >> WOMEN'S HEALTH IS AS OF PUBLICATION HAS BEEN AROUND FOR 37 YEARS. I THINK AT THIS POINT AND WE'VE ALWAYS BEEN FOCUSED ON HELPING. >> YOUNG MEN GENERALLY DEFINED DID BECOME THE BEST VERSION OF THEMSELVES IN THE PAST. WE'VE SORT OF TRAFFIC AND THINGS LIKE 6 PACK ABS OR LOSE WEIGHT OVER NIGHT. AND AND THAT'S JUST NOT REALISTIC. AND SO SOMETHING THAT WE'RE DOING TODAY AS A BRAND IS REALLY BEING OPEN AND HONEST WITH OUR AUDIENCE. AS FAR YOU KNOW, WHAT'S REALISTIC FOR THEIR BODY TYPES, WHAT IT REQUIRES TO LOOK AND PERFORM A CERTAIN AND WHAT KIND OF INFORMATION THEY REALLY SHOULD BE BELIEVING IN FOLLOWING SO MENTAL THE SORT OF UNIQUELY SITUATED TO TELL THE STORY. WE HAVE THE AUTHORITY AND THE CREDIBILITY IN THIS PIECE AND THANKS TO DURAN IS REPORTING AND ARE, YOU KNOW, COLLABORATION WITH FOLKS FROM HARVARD STANFORD REALLY LEARNING ABOUT, YOU KNOW, HOW EATING DISORDERS, HOW, YOU KNOW, TO SORT OF WORKING OUT IS REALLY IMPACTING THIS GENERATION. >> IRAN HAS WHO WENT ON THIS FILMMAKING JOURNEY TO TELL THIS STORY TO TALK ABOUT THIS SUBJECT THAT NEEDS TO BE DISCUSSED. WAS THERE ANYTHING ON THIS JOURNEY THAT MAY HAVE SURPRISED YOU AS YOU GOING ABOUT THE FILMING PROCESS? >> YEAH. I MEAN, APART FROM THE FIGHT OF JUST HOW WIDESPREAD THIS AS WHAT WAS SHOCKING, THE WHOLE WORLD OF UNREGULATED SUPPLEMENTS WASN'T A TOPIC I KNEW ABOUT, YOU KNOW, I I LIKE MANY PEOPLE THOUGHT IF I PUT A SUPPLEMENT ONLINE THAT, YOU KNOW, WAS WHAT IT IS IN THE BOTTLE. TURNS OUT THAT'S NOT TRUE. AND ESPECIALLY FOR SO THAT WAS A HUGE EYE OPENER OF PRETTY SCARY FINDING. >> AND THIS THANK YOU BOTH SO MUCH FOR JOINING US. WE APPRECIATE YOU BEING HERE AND LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING THIS VERY IMPORTANT AND WE WILL LET OUR VIEWERS KNOW THAT YOU CAN GET IT ON AMAZON PRIME OR APPLE TV OR VERY LOCAL, WHICH IS AN APP THAT IS COMING HERE TO FORT MYERS.
