The Town of Fort Myers Beach is set to publicly discuss the idea to develop a food truck park across the street from where the Chapel By the Sea once stood.
Fort Myers Beach leaders want to hear from residents on Tuesday to discuss what they would like to see developed in the area.
The next idea for development, a food truck park with parking. It would be part of the land use where homes were before Hurricane Ian wiped them out along Cottage Ave.
NBC2 is told the developer is looking to add outdoor seating, entertainment and a rec center.
There is said to be an area for restrooms as well.
If this was to be approved, it could stand to be the third food truck park we see throughout Lee County.
