DeSoto County deputies swarmed the area near Popeyes in Arcadia after receiving reports of a suspected bomb threat.
Deputies responded to the area near 2729 SE Highway 70 around 2:55 p.m. on Friday
DCSO deputies and the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad conducted a search and investigation of the building and surrounding areas to determine it to be safe and secure.
Deputies said the investigation is ongoing.
