Lee County deputies are investigating after shots were fired at a car in Lehigh Acres on Thursday night.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office said the shooting incident happened near Ida Avenue and 30th Street Southwest. A home was also taped off in this area.
Deputies are also investigating a related scene on 36th Street Southwest. NBC2 crews saw deputies looking around with flashlights in the trees and had areas around a canal taped off.
Neighbors about a mile away said they heard several gunshots and saw helicopters circling over their houses.
The sheriff's office said there were no injuries and this investigation remains active.
