A man is wanted after failing to show up to court on multiple charges, including DUI and fleeing from law enforcement.
According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, Alexander Izaguirre was arrested for leaving the scene of a crash, fleeing, and eluding officers, all without a license.
Witnesses say Isaguirre swerved in and out of traffic, even sideswipping cars.
Police arrived at the scene as he pulled into the restaurant parking lot, but as they approached his car, he hit the gas and took off towards the Edison Mall.
The chase was called off due to safety concerns, but Izaguirre was busted for driving under the influence a few miles away.
Izaguirre claimed he only had three beers, despite the empty bottles of tequila, fresh-cut limes, and salt on the front seat of the car.
He spent one week behind bars before being released pending his next court hearing, which he failed to show for last month.
Izaguirre is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds, and will be held without bond upon his arrest.
