Charlotte County deputies said two suspects were caught and are accused of stealing from a Daybreak Gas Station in Port Charlotte.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, the theft happened around 4 a.m. Sunday at the gas station located near the intersection of Cochran Boulevard and Veterans Boulevard.
Deputies said one teenage boy, identified as 15-year-old Brayden Maxemovich, and Jason Thibeault, 52, distracted the clerk and stole approximately $1,500 worth of vape products.
Both of the suspects were caught and are being interviewed by CCSO detectives. CCSO said additional charges may be coming with the grand theft.
