Naples police rescued a feathery resident found outside the department's station.
The Naples Police Department said night shift officers found the injured owl in the early hours of Sunday morning and believed it might have been hit by a car.
According to the Facebook post, the officers put the owl in a container and took him to the Conservancy of Southwest Florida for evaluation and treatment.
