A fire ignited a home along Poston Avenue in Port Charlotte Monday night.
Flames could be seen engulfing the home as Charlotte County fire crews worked to extinguish it.
According to county officials, Charlotte County Fire/EMS responded to a house fire and transported one occupant to the hospital.
Officials also said one reported occupant is unaccounted for at this time.
