A fire ignited a home along Poston Avenue in Port Charlotte Monday night.Flames could be seen engulfing the home as Charlotte County fire crews worked to extinguish it.According to county officials, Charlotte County Fire/EMS responded to a house fire and one occupant was transferred to Gulf Coast Hospital in Cape Coral.ABC7 is working to find out their current condition.Officials also said one reported occupant is unaccounted for at this time.The investigation is ongoing, and the state fire marshal is on scene.Get More from the free ABC7 News app for the latest news and weather alerts.
