A Tice man is facing multiple charges after being accused of throwing a brick through the front door of a Fort Myers restaurant and stealing cash on Sunday.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office said Mitchell Williams, 42, targeted multiple businesses along Palm Beach Boulevard around midnight.
Williams tried breaking into Dairy Queen by throwing rocks and bricks at the door and windows, according to the arrest report, before walking across the street to Palm Beach Pizza and throwing a brick through the front door.
Deputies said Williams was able to get inside and get away with money.
LCSO said Williams hit one more business, breaking a sink on the side at Oscars Handy Pantry.
Deputies said they found Williams wearing the same outfit as the one he wore to commit the burglaries.
Williams was arrested and is facing the following charges:
- Three counts of burglary
- Resisting an officer
- Two counts of criminal mischief
- Grand theft
