A Cape Coral man was arrested Tuesday after police found a large quantity of narcotics and two minors in his home during a drug trafficking investigation.
According to the Cape Coral Police Department, officers were monitoring the home of Tremayne Marcus Askins, 42, when they said they saw him selling drugs out of the house to another man.
Officers followed the buyer, later identified as Prataid Tansacha , 51, after he left the home.
He was stopped by police and found with 28.2 grams of psilocybin, nearly 234 grams of cannabis, and unidentified pills sent for testing. Officers say Tansacha admitted to buying the drugs from Askins.
When Askins left the home, he was also pulled over by police and found to have methamphetamine and morphine.
Along with the SWAT team and a warrant, officers searched Askins home and say they found 607 grams of amphetamine, 341.8 grams of cocaine, and more than 3,000 grams of marijuana.
Two minors were also in the home during the raid.
Askins faces multiple charges, including trafficking amphetamine, trafficking cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, and sale of psilocybin.
Tansacha was also arrested and faces charges of possession of a controlled substance.
