A Gulf Coast nonprofit is empowering adults with special needs and those who care for them. Now, a special exhibition is showcasing that mission in Positively Southwest Florida.It's called "Not Forgotten Faces." It's a traveling collection of portraits by George Waters. Waters is a volunteer at Trailways Camps, which gives adults with special needs an overnight camping experience while offering parents and caregivers rest, relaxation and downtime. The exhibit at the Sanibel Captiva Trust Co.'s Bell Tower office showcases the importance of that mission.Carolyn Rogers, Sanibel Captiva Trust Co. SVP of wealth services, explained, “The purpose of this exhibit is to help tell the story. What better way than to show the pictures of Trailways Camp campers enjoying the experience that they’re given through this wonderful nonprofit?”The Sanibel Captiva Trust Co. supports Trailways Camps and its mission.
