After starting off with some of the coldest temperatures we have felt on the Gulf Coast in almost three years, we are in store for a cool but sunny Saturday.
Temperatures for Saturday are expected to climb into the upper 60s, along with sunny skies.
An usually long stretch of below-average temperatures for the month of January will give way to warmer weather.
Sunny conditions will dominate the forecast over the next several days with seasonable temperatures. We will begin this warming trend this weekend, and by next week, 70s are expected throughout the seven-day forecast.
