US-41 is shut down at Alico Road after a major crash involving a gas line burst into flames Sunday morning.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office is on the scene, and they said all lanes of US-41 are closed near Alico Rd.
According to LCSO, the roadway will be closed for an unknown amount of time.
Deputies ask that drivers avoid the area at this time.
