Christopher Horne, the father of the teen accused of killing 15-year-old Kayla Rincon-Miller, was arrested again.
Horne is the father of Christopher Horne Jr., the 16-year-old facing life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Horne Jr. and Thomas Stein, 16, are accused of being inside the vehicle that gunned down Rincon-Miller. The two teens plead not guilty to first-degree murder.
According to an arrest affidavit, Horne Sr. violated his terms of release due to a dead battery on his GPS tracker. He was initially arrested for witness tampering in the murder case of Rincon-Miller.
The violation details that on Jan. 16, the officer was notified that Horne Sr. allowed his battery to die, and they were unable to get ahold of him.
Horne Jr.'s mother and aunt were also arrested for witness tampering in the case.
