A man has been arrested after a shooting on Saturday, Jan. 18, in North Sarasota.
The shooting happened in the 4300 block of N. Tamiami Trail just before 7 p.m. According to the Sarasota Police Department, one adult was injured in the shooting.
Sarasota police, with the help of the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, arrested Everett White, 44, of Sarasota.
White was taken to the Sarasota County Jail, where he is being held without bond. He is facing charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
